There was more reason to smile on Wednesday when the Yanks came from behind to beat the Jays, 8-6. That man Judge did his thing again, collecting three hits, including a homer. And no, Stroman did not try to dust him off.
This weekend should be funski. Yanks out in Chicago for three games against the Cubbies at Wrigley. First up is a Friday afternoon matinee for all you goldbrickers out there.

I had recorded it and was watching it a few hours after it should have ended. I only set it for 4.5 hours and was disappointed that the recording ended with the game still in doubt.
When I turned on ESPN to watch the highlights and find out the final, it was the 16th inning. So I got to watch the end live. I'm on the west coast and that was even late for me.

This was the first time that I saw an intentional walk all year, and I didn't know that they changed the rule?
That was a real kick in the teeth for the Cubs. They got swept, and the last game was like 2 games and they had to stretch out their pen that was already thin. Ouch!
The Yanks pen aside from Chapman was amazing. There is lot more pressure on the visiting team in an extra inning game and they just dealt.
While I don't know if this team will go all the way, (way too soon to start making that prediction) what a fun team to watch. I would honestly rather see a team like this play well and fall short than to see a team of hired guns win it all. I hope that the young guns keep up their hard work, and create a dynasty.
Too bad that Severino didn't get the w. He had a heck of a game.
