I would just like to thank the Marlins for this disaster.

I also cannot believe that of everything 2020 has taken, it also had to take my respect for Don Mattingly. How did he ever decide that it was a fine idea to let the players decide to play even knowing some might be infected?!?! Are we really to believe that wasn't in the protocol?!? (Ok I could totally believe it after the "Oh wait the 4th of July is a holiday" testing debacle.) Didn't the Marlins already get reprimanded for not following the protocol?!? I am completely dumbfounded by Donnie Baseball's inaction in this event.

I think everyone in MLB is nutty. If you follow any of the players Instagram feeds you'll see all kinds of things they shouldn't be doing around each other. Fact is vast majority of the ball players are not taking it seriously. Didi, Clint Frazer and few others are. The rest just doing give a sh!t and it's rather disappointing. They are role models and the examples they are setting is just making things worse.

The whole Marlins thing is brain numbing to me. It was just some sort of free form chaos without using actual health protocols. Very bizarre and inexcusable to me.

Hm, so, I'm out of the loop at the moment (connecting to the world only sporadically), but I just read that... Trump was never invited to throw out a first pitch at a Yankee game at all.
He made it up.
I don't know why anything he does surprises me anymore, but... wtf???

Fun while it lasted, I enjoyed having a couple days of games. But seems madness to continue.

[1] Can't blame Donnie Baseball there, MLB is to blame for the shocking lack of leadership. Sadly not a surprise given the complete lack of competent leadership in the country at the moment..

[5] Far beyond parody at this point, right? But, e-mails! :/
