Sundazed Soul

It snowed yesterday, big, fat flakes and up here in the Bronx we got a couple of inches and a lot of tree branches down. It is almost surreal this morning because the sun is out, the trees still have green leaves, and yet there is snow on the ground.

Go figure.

How about a picture?

Lots of snow here -- about six inches where I live in the craggy mountains of western RI. Chilly but sunny and blue today (maybe 40 degrees), and, mirabile dictu, our power lines are intact! (David Pinto wasn't so lucky, and I hear there are half a million homes without power in western Massachusetts.)

No snow here, but we did have a brief shower last evening half rain, half hail. Weird.

Can't believe the G-men are losing to the Dolphins. I thought Miami was trying to lose this year on porpoise.

NH was supposed to get 8-12 inches. We got 16+. The roads are not frozen so plowing was a mess. Lots of sun and 40's this upcoming week, so most will melt. But MAN! I wasn't ready for this kind of shit.

[3] Har! Actually, I did LOL before I groaned.

For the record, another sunny autumn masterpiece in Tokyo. Perfect weather for trick or treating. Highs in the low 70s all week.
