Call me weird if you must, but I like our chances with that match up, if they can actually get the game in tonight. I think Hughes can overmatch enough of that lineup to win, if he throws with the confidence and stuff he exhibited in Detroit, which he should.
I also like Jeter and Damon getting yesterday off, which clearly was much needed for the both of them. Hopefully they can get back to their regular multiple hit games tonight as well!
I keep hoping Ortiz is really finished as an offensive threat (he sure looks that way to me), but within the grand scheme of Yankees/Red Sox, something in the back of my mind believes otherwise. In the meantime, don't start hitting here, Papi!
