"A New York Treasure" --Village Voice

T.G.I.F

Finally Friday.  I’m goin to the record shop.

Dig this Demo:

Then I’m off to Brooklyn for barbeque and the Yankee game with Johnny Red Sox. Be nice to see A Rod crack one tonight. And it’d be cool if Phil Hughes can throw a good game too.

Am I right or what?

[2] Del did a collaboration w/ Dinosaur Jr on the Judgment Night soundtrack that remains one of my all-time favorites. He finds rhymes for Molecule Man and Kitty Pride, elating comic book readers everywhere.

I'm off to the Mudhens tonight. $9 seat, $7 32 oz. beer. Can't be beat. Dice-K is rehabbing tonight; 'Hens took care of Buchholz Wednesday, (well, actually the Pawsox bullpen lost in the tenth, giving up the game's lone run) hope they can keep it up tonight.
Check out the pitching lines from that game:

Buchholz 8.0 4 0 0 0 11 0 1.03
Cherry 1.0 1 0 0 0 0 0 2.40
Traber (L, 1-2) 0.0 2 1 1 1 0 0 3.68

Bonine 9.0 1 0 0 0 5 0 1.88
Fien (W, 2-0) 1.0 0 0 0 0 2 0 3.78

Man, 9 innings of 1 hit, 0 walk, shut out and you don't get a W? Baseball can be real cruel at times.
