Today would have been Bobby Murcer’s 63rd birthday.
We lost Bobby last July to a brain tumor, so I’d like to take this opportunity to remember a pretty good ballplayer, and an even better person.

I miss Bobby Murcer. Not only do I miss his long winded southern drawl, I miss the tremendous experience he brought not only to the field, but to the booth as well.
I also miss the days of him chasing baseballs bouncing around the monuments in CF, too.
