Very amped up - like standing up front at the stage before the house lights drop. Can't sit still. Can't concentrate. The distraction of the game is swirling around my consciousness all day long. I'm like Carly Simon in that ketchup commercial. The anticipation is killing me. Non stop anxiety.

After the Monday night offensive juggernaut that was batters 5-9 (yes, I'm sarcastic), it is a pleasure to see balance is restored in our universe. Matsui, it is so nice to have you back.

Go Yankees!!!

[3] As awful as Gardy has been, he has been little worse than Melky was. So the Yankees have effectively the same lineup that they started the WS with. If the chips are down, the can still PH for Gardner and use Hairston in CF, or even put Swisher (or Damon!!) in CF. If the chips are really down, that is.

Phew. Dodged the Hairston bullet. Thanks Joe.

Great music choice!

Add me to the list of people feeling pumped up and jittery!

220 more minutes, and it feels like years!!

[6] When Melky is up, I still feel that something can happen by accident.

With Gardner, I feel like he's going to take strike one and and strike two right down the middle, and then we have to hope that someone in the field falls down.

[10] That's interesting, given that Gardner's OBP was higher than Melky's this year. I guess a lot of people in the field fell down this year.
