Best Plate Discipline. "Reegie! Reegie!" I'm rooting for the lefty from Stanford for no good reason. Maybe to pay homage to Moose.

Four of the top 10 are catchers.I think it's safe to say that the Yankees should have a capable replacement for Posada.

Got Melky? The Yankees do...two of them in fact! I wouldn't mind seeing the Yankees promote Melky Mesa so they could have two on the same team. I'd have to think that has never been done in professional sports history.

It's also interesting to see that Jamie Hoffmann ranks as the organization's best outfield, which isn't a surprise because the scouting report on him was he plays all three spots well above average. He could wind up being a very nice, under the radar addition.

[4] Agreed...the more I thought about it, the more I thought that was a nice little pickup. And it plays into my (not very imaginative or counter-intuitive) prediction that the Yankees will deal one of their OFs (whether Melky, Gardy or even Hoffmann himself).

[3] Imagine the T-shirt possibilities!!

[5][6] You all ignored my BoSox t-shirt idea of "Dice-Clay", back to back "tough" pitching poses while wearing leather jackets...c'mon, it's the off-season, I'm not in top form here...

[10] Arodys Vizcaino is a very young (18 or 19) pitcher out the DR whom the Yankees signed as an internation free agent. He was somewhat heralded before signing (I think he worked out with the Yankees other Arod).

Banuelos ws signed out of the Mexican league. He is a very young (18), smallish lefty who has progressed significantly over the last year.

Both Vizcaino and Banuelos are several years away from the Bronx.

Thats a pretty amazing review of Montero's bat 80 out of 80 on both catagories, has anyone else seen or even heard of another player having that high of rating, especially that young?
Kinda surprised to see Sanchez on that list already, he must really be something special. Also was surprised to see Brackman on that list especially with all out pitching depth and the horrible first 2/3 of a season he had. I am anxious to see how the 3 young pitchers due next yr, also to see how Murphy, Sanchez and Heathcott perform. Sure looks like the Yanks aren't taking any chances with getting a replacement for Jorge. There projected 2013 lineup is kinda whack, i don't see anychance Gardners our CF, especially with all the high cieling outfielders we have around A ball

[15] If one of those "high ceiling" CF'ers turns out to be Granderson, I think the Yankees would be very happy. So, if Granderson is still Granderson in 2013, there is a good chance he'll still be in CF in 2013.
