Hope everyone is safe and warm.

I haven't even decided if I'm going to call it "Twenty-Ten" or "Two thousand ten"

Happy New Year everyone!

2010. Now that's much better.

I think the thought of having to put a zero before every numeral made the last decade a big loser. Of course, the First loser in the Oval Office (metaphorically and literally) didn't help much either.

Thank God for the Tens! Or the Teens! Or the Tweens!

Happy New Year folks! May this year be as memorable for us.

[3] I've had similar thoughts about the '00s. I never really like the 9 year anyway, so when it busts into a new decade it's always a pleasure (obviously going from 1999 to 2000 was the mother of all decade changes in that regard).

So, yeah - 2010. Here's hoping the year and the decade to come make good on the promise of improved aesthetics!
