Has it Really Been One Year?

We lost Todd Drew on this day one year ago.

Here is his penultimate post.

We miss you Todd, as a Banterer, as a writer and as a good soul.

This has become such a large date. MLK was born. I was born. My father died 3 years ago today. One year Later my daughter was born. One year after that, Todd died.

Sheesh. This year is loooking quiet. Thank goodness. But then again, it's only 11:30...

Thanks!

Oh and I didn't mean to equivocate with me and MLK, of course. It was just always a fact I was proud to share.

amen to that alex - that captures my feelings perfectly.
i still vividly recall the shock i felt when i read the post announcing the horrible news of his passing.

i take some small solace that he endures because of his tremendous pieces.

i wrote chords for the 'B' section of "Shadow Games" - my tribute composition to Todd - this past week. i'm still working on the piece...

[5] yeah, i remember exactly how shocked i was when i came home from a gig and heard the news. sooo sad...

i hope marsha is doing okay.
