The first time I ever saw The Rocky Horror Picture Show was at the old New Yorker movie theater, which was on 88th street and Broadway. Before the show started, here was my introduction to Lenny Bruce:

I was sad when the great New Yorker went down. It was such a weekend scene during the Rocky Horror years. It was the beginning of the end of the revival houses.
As for Lenny Bruce, he was so ahead of his time. Genius!
