Thought Joe Po unfairly ragged the Yankees last week in SI. I am oh so tired of hearing the pundits go on about the money. Fans go to the stadium. They buy tickets. The owners make money. They spend it on players. What is wrong with that? In other cities, like St. Louis, fans go to the games. They buy tickets. The owners make money. They spend it on players. How about Boston? In some areas, the teams make money and don't spend it on the players. In others, they would not know how to spend it if they could.
Jo Po and the ESPN crew, or at least some of them, should find something else to talk about. I don't like the tax the Yankees pay, which is passed along to the fans, and I still don't like the DH.
