[4] there was a 3-hour power outage in my neighborhood right as the bottom of the 10th was starting. i was (literally) in the dark (ah, it was still light out, but it sounds good!) as far as the outcome of the game was concerned. that explains my abrupt and mysterious disappearance from the game thread. i'm sure you were oh so worried...

[5] hmm, i did kind of wonder. I mean, it isn't totally unusual for conversation to end with the game. But usually you're pretty active for at least a few minutes. Glad you got your power back.
