went to london/paris last week, not surprisingly saw some great stuff.
Dude! What a trip, I'm envious. Yeah, I plan on seeing the show and will feature pictures from it all week. It's my favorite Matisse period by far.

cool about the matisse week; my favorite period too.
This painting - can't stop looking at it. Pretty incredible. Hard to put into words what the reaction is - but it draws me in.

I just am really in love with the Matisse pictures from this time, where you can see the underpaintings, and he leaves things, not loose, but you can see how much work he did to get to a state of resolution that he was content with...
