Bow Down to a Player That’s Greater than You

So Roy Halladay gets traded to the Phillies last winter and goes out and wins the Cy Young award. Got a no-hitter and a perfect game too and led the majors with nine complete games. Jesus, what a load.

Good for him.

No surprise there. Am hoping King Felix takes it home in the AL.

So...anyone up for some Knicks talk? Got to say I am distinctly UN-impressed with Donnie Walsh and D'antoni now..it's been two + years since the end of the Isiaih era. Can we start winning some games now, please?

Screw you, WordPress!!

Anyway, I give Walsh a pass because he's waging a battle he can't win; he cleaned up Isiah's mess to the extent he was allowed to, but he still has a douchebag boss who won't let him make the decisions he really wants to make because said douchebag only wants asskissers in management circles. I didn't really have respect for D'Antoni to begin with, so his departure would be a welcome improvement. The man cannot coach defense to save his life; maybe his offensive system weakens his own defense to the point that it any win is a Pyrrhic victory at best.

No, the ones I've been UN-impressed with are Allen Houston and John Starks. Why would these guys want to be part of such a dysfunctional organization unless they knew they were no good at anything else? Allen Houston a GM-in-waiting? Who did he learn from? Isiah? It couldn't have been Walsh, because Walsh wants Chris Mullin. Unbelieveable, which is probably why douchebag wants Isiah back.

As for Starks, he was bagging groceries before he had his NBA career and would have ended up going back to bagging groceries if not for douchebag. Nothing's changed except the fact they have more money to spend.

So in review, Walsh = Incomplete, D'Antoni = Fail, Dolan = Epic Fail, Knicks Fans = Played.

Hmm..guess the Knicks are so bad everyone is speechless...oh well, will get back to "work" and reading about MJQ albums..heard a live set from the mid-70s recently that was outrageously good..

How about Michael Vick? Man, what a talent. I almost wish I was an Eagles fan. That's a BIG "almost" though. Next week Vick vs. the Jints.

I can't talk about the Knicks. I hate them because I love them.
