Taster's Cherce

The roast chicken turned out okay on Saturday night–it’s a start, anyway–and the chicken salad was even better yesterday.

Then, with a little bit of help…

I made this easy and delicious apple cake from Dorie Greenspan (via David Lebovitz):

It is a sure shot.

The book is “Around My French Table” and it’s terrific.

glad your roast chicken was okay and you got to use the leftovers in a tasty chicken salad.

Dorie is my wife's cousin. Beautiful, talented and creative woman. And, she can cook. Nice combination, eh. To her husband Michael, I'd say, good for both of you and may you have happiness and a long life.

My chicken cooked perfectly. Better than OK. Put a french graves in the pan with a little chicken stock and the chicken parts. Reserved. Just luscious. Remember, it all starts with a free range chicken. I do most of the cooking, though Sharon is making stuffed cabbage right now, one of her specialty dishes.
