I played this once for an older Japanese person who was completely unfamiliar with James Brown. His quote: "I have no idea what the singer is saying but the rhythm in this music is very interesting and would be very suitable for dancing, I think." Like Marv says..YES!

sorry i left this thread after posting, had to go teach... i'm sure it's dead by now, but...

Alex. Chyll, Tokyo - thanks guys! pretty soon, my tag here will be red and it'll lead to a meat 'n potatoes website. you'll be able to buy cd's from there... not sure i'm gonna do anything with youtube and facebook isn't for me...

my 2nd percussion cd is slated for a 2012 release. "Shadow Games" - Todd Drew's title - will be featured on there...
