I love Gardner as a lead-off hitter. When he's on, he's perfect. I hope he's up to it. He's masterful at fouling pitches off.

[7] Ha. I just tuned in and saw him lace that double. I knew he had been hitting pretty well. I used to fucking HATE him on the A's. Now I hope he rakes for the good guys. It's Johnny Damon syndrome for me. And the Jesus just ripped a single to left. His swing made it pop. Damn.
