Slow start for Adrain Gonzalez. RBI double in his first AB. 2-1 Sox after 1.

Exciting to see the Phillies come back.

1] LOL. Nelson Cruz just tied it up. I saw that guy mash when he played in Triple-A; he was a beast. I hate to admit it, but the new Gameday graphics at the MLB site are pretty cool.

[1] 2 RBI single in his second.

I have a feeling I'm gonna hate that trade for a long, loooooong time.

Wild game in Cleveland. Indians down 14-0, trying to come back, it's now 15-9.

[3] Very cool! I havn't checked yet but anyone know if the international blackout is still on? Last time I had mlb.com TV had to watch all the games on delay, 3 hours after they finished..

I'm irrationally happy to see Daniel Bard get roughed up..I was a Bard College grad, should have some affinity but never for a Red Sox player!

That mlb.com Gameday stadium view is too cool, even captures the football-shaped oddness of Florida's park, complete with empty seats.

Why is there no Yankee game today?

..crickets...

Mlb.com TV says NO blackouts apply now for outside the US & Guam! Better get signed up!

Mets being no-hit through 4..

Mets being no hit through 6.

Wouldn't that just be a kick-in-the-teeth way for them to open the season ...

[10] Got that on Gameday here, Jays beating up the Twins and Crazy Carl Pavano on tv. Will be getting a lot of Twins games on tv here this year as they have Nishioka playing 2B.

Top 7, Mets get their first hit of the year.

Its always nice to see Carl Pavano fail, but after the debacle this winter, I really, really want to see him have an atrocious year.

I love watching the Mets lose.
I think I had seen a clip a long time ago of Luke Apling hitting a homer at an old timer's day when he was 75, but I had forgotten about it until I saw this aricle. His clip is about halfway down. Mo's not going to appear in an old timer's game until he's at least 97 by the way.

Mr OK Jazz Tokyo:

Ditto Bard, ditto Daniel Bard.

The events of Opening Day either completely prove or disprove whatever theories I had before the season. /sportswriters and talking heads
