Woke up in time for the Tejas Rumble, Go Go Bar-to-LO!

And well done Verlander, 2nd No-No! MLB.com tv is great, you can watch the condensed game and see all 27 outs in about 10 minutes. He was hitting 99 in the 8th inning, Jays had no chance!

Yankees have been making the rounds of the ugly starters of the AL, huh?

4 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 8:08 pm

Sigh.

8 Just Fair   ~  May 7, 2011 8:13 pm

Jeter AND Alex were just made to look stupid. Not good.

9 Mattpat11   ~  May 7, 2011 8:16 pm

10 randym77   ~  May 7, 2011 8:16 pm

I'm kind of impressed Colon could jump that high.

11 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 8:19 pm

12 Mattpat11   ~  May 7, 2011 8:19 pm

14 randym77   ~  May 7, 2011 8:30 pm

Sigh. It's going to be a Super Colon Blow night, isn't it?

15 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  May 7, 2011 8:34 pm

[14] I think that last one was a Texas Launch Pad type shot..but yeah, may be a loose Colon night ahead..

16 Mattpat11   ~  May 7, 2011 8:35 pm

Hmm

17 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  May 7, 2011 8:36 pm

18 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 8:38 pm

19 randym77   ~  May 7, 2011 8:44 pm

20 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  May 7, 2011 8:45 pm

26 Mattpat11   ~  May 7, 2011 8:53 pm

[25] He really has been having better at bats

27 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  May 7, 2011 8:55 pm

Whoa, Mike Maddux looks like he should be hanging an installation in Berlin.

28 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 8:58 pm

Nice, Teix.

29 Just Fair   ~  May 7, 2011 8:59 pm

Alex is just a tick off. He'll get it going soon. Real soon.

32 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  May 7, 2011 9:04 pm

Wow, Bourbon wasn't close to that, bad decision with the dive!

33 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 9:08 pm

Eh, I'll take it.

34 Just Fair   ~  May 7, 2011 9:13 pm

Bollocks. Gardner catches that easily.

36 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 9:15 pm

Heh, Deep Purple reference!

37 Just Fair   ~  May 7, 2011 9:26 pm

Fer'fuck's sakes Martin. I just saw that movie a few innings ago. Ugh!

38 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 9:35 pm

Fucking Jose Offerman.

39 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 9:42 pm

I'll never to this day understand why some fields have brick walls and hills for players to injure themselves on.

40 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 9:45 pm

Bartolo wants those tacos for himself.

41 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 9:48 pm

Is Boone Logan going to do the job?

42 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 9:48 pm

He was bound to have a stinker.

43 Just Fair   ~  May 7, 2011 9:51 pm

Yo Swish. Go long!

44 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 9:51 pm

That was very good hitting.

45 Mattpat11   ~  May 7, 2011 9:52 pm

Girardi is terrified of David Murphy

46 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 9:52 pm

Jesus.

Ummm...good work, Logan?

47 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  May 7, 2011 9:54 pm

Did I mishear that, Yankees Grass-Seed Night?

48 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 9:55 pm

Arthur Rhodes is still pitching???

49 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 9:56 pm

Nice, Swish.

50 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 9:56 pm

Yes, Swish!

And Arthur Rhodes = more Yankee runs.

51 Alex Belth   ~  May 7, 2011 9:57 pm

SWISH!

52 Just Fair   ~  May 7, 2011 10:03 pm

Congrats, Jorge. A new record. : /

53 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 10:07 pm

These guys keep hitting the ball the other way.

54 Mattpat11   ~  May 7, 2011 10:12 pm

Hell of a job by our lefty specialist

55 randym77   ~  May 7, 2011 10:21 pm

Well, this is getting out of hand.

56 rbj   ~  May 7, 2011 10:25 pm

Maybe there's life in the old captain after all.

57 OldYanksFan   ~  May 7, 2011 10:32 pm

Jeez... ARod is the new Jeter.

58 Just Fair   ~  May 7, 2011 10:35 pm

Smooth.

59 Just Fair   ~  May 7, 2011 10:40 pm

Cone's looking for phone booths for shady reasons. WTF! lol......

60 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 10:40 pm

I like that, "like swinging a bat in a phone booth."

61 Alex Belth   ~  May 7, 2011 10:44 pm

60) Cone makes Kay tolerable.

62 Mattpat11   ~  May 7, 2011 10:58 pm

Nothing makes Kay tolerable

63 randym77   ~  May 7, 2011 11:20 pm

Well, at least Jeter's looking better. After reading that NoMaas thing, I was afraid it was swift terminal decline, rather than a slump.

64 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  May 7, 2011 11:20 pm

[61] Meaning you don't like Cone or meaning he tempers Kay?

65 Mattpat11   ~  May 7, 2011 11:22 pm

He really has been looking a bit better for a while

66 randym77   ~  May 7, 2011 11:41 pm

I wonder if we could shake Dontrelle Willis loose from the Reds. He's stuck in AAA. Struck out 10 in 6 innings in his last game (it was only a 7-inning game). They'd have to have half their team abducted by aliens before he'll get a shot.
