Cliff has the preview; we stay up late and root:
Let’s Go Yank-ees!

Oy, another good night for Carl C and the Sox. And the Yanks face two tough pitchers in Seattle tonight and tomorrow.
Hey my class threw me a suprise b-day party this week and hooked me up with a Yankee cake and a Jeter jersey. And they had black and gold balloons for my Steelers. I was totally floored because I've never had the Pinstripes before. If any of them ever read the Banter they would not have picked #2. lol.......Go Yankees!
yeah, i saw that. made me sick. and ellsbury has 6 freakin' homers... : /
that is all kindsa *awesome*!!! oh, and Happy Birthday!!!
today is my brother's b-day. my nephew is on Tuesday...
papelbitch gave up a run in the 9th, but the shit sox won and tampon shut out the tribe...
and we've got rather tough assignments tonight & manana in the emerald city...
old friend juan miranda has 2 homers tonite for the surging snakes. that's 5 on the year for him...
2) sooo cool
[3,6] Much appreciated. : )
This young pitcher for the M's sounds all kinds of nasty. Had not heard of him until tonight.
We face tough pitching all road trip.
This might have been a good night to sit Jeter
Teix goes boom!
 Awww! That's lovely! Happy birthday!
OTOH we get a whole roadtrip without Michael Kay ...
 Nice, right?
i'm gonna be playing in seattle this summer. well, right outside of it at a big outdoor park. never been there. lookin' forward to it!
A little high there, AJ.
I was there for the first and only time a couple years ago. It really is a lovely town. Reminded me of Zurich.
Good work, AJ.
Oh, AJ. Never a dull moment.
Spent 2 summers in Seattle. It's just gorgeous during that time of year.
Come on, Swish...
unfortunately, i won't really have any time to do anything, but work. i doubt i'll get to see any of downtown seattle. i'll see: tour bus, backstage, stage, hotel, airport.
also something i probably won't see there: an a-rod #3 mariners jersey!
Run, Russell, run!
i don't think so. just a show. i don't have all the details yet. i see del mar is pretty much san diego. i'll also be in woodland hills (which really is LA) and somewhere called Costa Mesa, which is the OC and prolly pretty close to you. i imagine it's near Anaheim, or something...
i'm diggin' russell *coltrane* (!!!) martin!
I was watching hockey! Can you believe it? Hockey. Sometimes I amaze myself.
I don't get watching a 3-1 meatball. Fuck.
When's the gig in Woodland Hills?
 Damn Bruins. Go Canucks.
Eh, it was a good pitch, high. I wouldn't quite call it a meatball.
 Oh, right.
I don't really care. And the NHL is usually really dull, but Game 7 of a playoff series is electric.
Huh. There's a "Phil Hughes" throwing fastballs off a mound.
 i'll text/call you. i think it's mid-july, or something...
so...aj has walked 4 of the first 9 batters.
Thatta boy, AJ!
You know what sounds like boring TV? Watching these two walk people all night
so...aj has struck out 4 of the first 10 batters.
You don't see this much. Over 100 pitches thrown in 2 innings, yet just a 1-0 game.
68 pitches after 3.
63 pitches for AJ after 3.
I can think of four Cy Young/Perfect game pitcher. Cone, Koufax, Johnson and Halladay
Hell of an AB from Posada
What a fucking catch. Damn!
Death to Flying Things indeed
That was a sick play. He's the best outFEIDER in baseball, no doubt. But, speaking for sick, how can you miss 41 games from a stomach flue?
Kennedy's been drinking again
Sweet pick off.
A.J. seems to have brought his A Game tonight.
I don't know how Alex is hitting .286.
I'll take it
Gift run. Much thanks.
i'll take it!
That's one way to get RISP in.
That was a pretty clear trap
 he's now hitting .290! ; )
Rust Staub!? There's a blast from the past.
I was at the game where he tied Dave Philly's record for consecutive pinch hits. It was against the Phillies, of all people, it was the seventh in a row, I believe, and I seem to recall it was some kind of linedrive like over the shortstop's head.
aj has an in-game whip of 2.
Cool. I was actually a Met fan for a short time when he was on the team.
I'd take him on my team.
That crafty AJ probably saved a run.
A few weeks ago, SNY went to a prolonged shot of a beam in the dugout. (Terry Collins was allegedly behind it) That's a better camera angle than this stupid behind the umpire shit.
Good play. What a crazy inning.
Saved it for a little later.
Talk about small ball.
Get. Out. Of. The. Fifth!
Battle of the bullpens.
Right now, a Yankees advantage.
I despise Boone Logan
throw strikes you fucking cocksucker.
QUICK! A LEFTY! WE MUST BRING IN OUR SHITTY LEFTY RELIEVER!
 Hanging head in shame.
NO ONE CAN GET ADAM KENNEDY OUT BUT BOONE LOGAN!
Ayala usually better than that, and Robertson/Joba has me spoiled.
How does one get a double post? I did nothing unusual.
You forget something important. Lefties are hitting Boone Logan at like a .350 clip, but damnit, we need to pull Burnett at 97 pitches because only Boone Logan can get ADAM KENNEDY out.
WTF! This game went sour in a hurry. Feel free to blame my wife, she came home and started bitching at me for screaming at the TV.
Jamey Wright is still in baseball?
Oh Christ help me, the pinch stand there.
Fucking clownshoes ...
 well, that's almost worse!
Good thing we had a pinch runner in there.
Were gonna get Bush League. I can feel it.
Yeah, this game is starting to piss me off.
Lets all just take strikes!
 Then again, maybe not.
Nice start to the weekend.
This division is going to be way too close to permit Joe Girardi a fetish lefty. Its time to cut Boone Logan.
Pathetic. Blowing a 3-0 lead and lying down for their BP. PATHETIC!
randy flores is prolly on his way. ugh.
Oh son of a bitching mother fuck. ENOUGH WITH THE GOD DAMNED LEFTIES
