Halo, I Must Be Going

Yanks are in Anaheim this weekend to play a three game series against their old nemesis, the Angels. But even though the Halos will be trotting out Jered Weaver and Dan Haren, they have fallen on tough tough times as evidenced by this letter by Rich Lederer.

I knew things were not so great in Anahiem, suburb of LA, but I did not realize they were that bad.

+1 to Cash for getting rid of Abreu when he had the chance.

Will be interesting to see whether Haren is going to start Sat.

I really haven't been worried about the Angels since September 2009

[6] Doesn't that feel good to say?

[7] I was not a fan of Mr Abreu while he was playing RF for the Bombers. It always seemed to me like he was not motivated primarily by winning. And that's just not something you ever want to say about a Yankee.

I think Abreu was maybe the most nondescript "star" Yankee I can ever remember. Quick, name your favorite Bobby Abreu memory! He wasn't bad by any stretch, but it was like he personified "meh."

[6] Mmmmmmm.
September 2009.

And then the rest of 2009.

Now I will have a happy evening.
