Taster's Cherce

What do you get at the ice cream truck? I like the strawberry shortcake jammy. Or a vanilla cone with sprinkles. Or, if I’m really knuts, a bomb pop like we did way back when.

Back in the day, colorful ice pops, like the bomb pop, Chipwiches, Fudgsicles, Chocolate Eclairs and Toasted Almonds.

Now I'd want a shake or a soft-serve cone I guess.

My kids go for the ice cream sandwich or the chipwich. I think they like the mess as much as the ice cream.

hey mom, can i have some money?
the ice cream man is coming!

i stick with the bomb pop.
i've heard too many stories about non-packaged stuff from the ice cream truck but maybe that's just a myth.

chocolate eclair, chipwich, ice cream sandwich, all excellent picks, [1]

if they have it, just a chocolate soft-serve, rolled in chocolate sprinkles or dipped in chocolate if that's an option

There's a truck that drives around my neighborhood playing "La Cucaracha," but it always comes just before dinner (and with a two-year-old, we eat promptly around 6pm). So my daughter knows what the ice cream truck is, but hasn't yet had the pleasure (and doesn't yet know that it actually will sell you ice cream). When she's old enough to run out and flag it down herself, I suppose I'll give in a few times. She gets her share of ice cream as it is anyway.

Bomb pops or the Big Toe which was a foot shaped pink thing with a gum ball for the big toenail. The best.
