My God I love that movie ... and that peformance, regardless of race, color *or* creed ...

Major Kong: Well, I've been to one world fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing I ever heard come over a set of earphones ...

You know, that hop on the turf is just ridiculous.

Turf is a fucking disgrace.

9 RIYank   ~  Jul 15, 2011 7:34 pm

Red Sox pitcher Andrew Miller threw 35 pitches in the first. Only coughed up one run, though.

10 rbj   ~  Jul 15, 2011 7:35 pm

Can we try something different and actually score this time?

11 rbj   ~  Jul 15, 2011 7:38 pm

Hit with a RISP!

12 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  Jul 15, 2011 7:41 pm

That is a brutal slider.

13 RIYank   ~  Jul 15, 2011 7:44 pm

[12] It's 90 mph, for starters.

14 RIYank   ~  Jul 15, 2011 7:57 pm

Andrew Miller loads the bases full of Rays with nobody out in the second. After Damon hits into a FC, Ben Zobrist rips his first pitch for salami. Yum.

Okay, back to the Yankees.

Cheers to Cone and Kenny.
[8] It's amazing that the Sky Dome was built in 1989 and already looks llike a Three Rivers, Veteran's Park, Riverfront Stadium cookie cutter bullshit indoor/outdoor stadium. I've been there 3x and there's nothing there to saw WOW!

16 Just Fair   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:05 pm

Slopball!

17 rbj   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:15 pm

That's a play!

18 Just Fair   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:15 pm

Damn. Great snag by the 3B. Shite!

Encarnacion has a reputation for bad defense, but it's because his throws tend to be wild. He's pretty good at picking it.

20 RIYank   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:21 pm

If you can get the Sox game, tune in: Zobrist is again up with the bases loaded...

21 RIYank   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:22 pm

I should have said: this time he'll face Alfredo Aceves.

22 rbj   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:27 pm

AA walks in a run. Now 7-2.

23 Just Fair   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:28 pm

I hate the fucking bue jays.

24 rbj   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:41 pm

Time to just start plunking Thames. That way he only gets one base.

25 randym77   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:49 pm

What was the injury delay?

26 weeping for brunnhilde   ~  Jul 15, 2011 8:56 pm

Jesus, another goatfuck.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone know the rationale for this pitching rotation? Most teams take advantage of the break and line up their top guys to start the second half. Burnett could've pitched last night and CC tonight.

But instead we went with Colón -- who clearly could've used the extra rest -- and García. Very disheartening. How long before we see the HWF get a start?

29 randym77   ~  Jul 15, 2011 9:53 pm

This game is not fun.

30 Hank Waddles   ~  Jul 15, 2011 9:53 pm

Of course, more than just one run would've been nice.

31 cult of basebaal   ~  Jul 15, 2011 10:07 pm

SAFE in a CLOUD OF DUST!

32 randym77   ~  Jul 15, 2011 10:10 pm

Seems like this inning has gone on forever.

33 cult of basebaal   ~  Jul 15, 2011 10:14 pm

Well, it's over now ...

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
