Taster’s Cherce

When you visit my mom–who now lives in Vermont–this is what you get.

Because that’s how she rolls.

Roll being the operative word.

haha yep.

one thing i am still not good at in the kitchen is rolling out dough for either pie/tart crust or pizza, etc.
perhaps i don't need it enough.

[3] damn - knead.

Ms Oct, I also have that problem. I've never made a pizza dough that could be twirled without falling apart. Um. I mean the dough tends to fall apart. I don't fall apart. I'm not quite that emotionally involved with my cooking.

But do not knead pie crust. Seriously.

[5] haha - thanks. yes my pizza crust also falls apart. or i roll it out into a strange shape - sometimes similar to a football.

Going up to Vermont to drop my kid off at UVM. I'm ready to visit your mom.

My VT summers are much like yours AB. F-in-Law is former game warden. M-in-L is devoted to Northern European style baking on a constant basis. Sugar intake regulation is difficult up there. Still haven't fired a gun yet though...Someday.
