Good Lord, yes!

Ingres is my favorite artist, particularly his drawings.

His Princesse de Broglie in the Robert Lehmann wing is my favorite portrait of all time. It just touches me to the depths of my soul.

It's preposterous how good he was. Simply uncanny.

Here's a couple of my favorites (The second one is owned by the Met and I had it on a postcard when I was 22 and that was the image that inspired me to start drawing, which I did feverishly for the next three years or so of my life:
