Beat of the Day

More Duane.

It's a tribute to Boz and Duane (and the rest of the band) that they keep such a simple blues so interesting for 12 minutes. It's gripping stuff.

I got into Boz as a kid when my older sisters got Silk Degrees, and then had the joy of working my way back through his earlier career. I'm guessing he might be the only guy to work with two of my other favorites, Duane Allman and Jim Carroll.

Great song, Alex. Boz is a Dallas boy who played in bands with Steve Miller as a yut.
