Always a favorite. Great stuff.

Bear with me, as I try to describe a societal trend that needs more thought for a distilled and honest description.

What happens to our society, when people like him who were tempered by the great depression as kids, witnessed the horrors of WW2 and the liberal internationalism and civil rights that were left in it's wake, who were able to do good work not just for money, but to say something and touch people are gone?

Greed and the me first attitude now prevails.

Not so long ago, we made fun of Holy Rollers, Business Majors, Gun Worshippers, Survivalists, Tax Cheats, Militarists, and the rest. Now, it seems that our freedoms are being compromised by the groups that claim it. I want to stay positive, but so much is going to be lost.
