Taster’s Cherce

Serious Eats gives us 11 burgers around the country that are worth the hype. This simple-looking burger from JG Melon looks good enough to troop over to the East Side, don’t it?

Haven't been there in years but their burgers are pretty damn good. Chili isn't bad either. Yum.

That's got to be a stop. Plus, bonus points for looking un-hip.

Hell yeah! And I was just about to throw some burgers on the skillet, too. Man., I'm having a goot! Monday... >;)

Is it just not one of the best comfort foods out there (if it's made right!) - sometimes, I don't even need the side of fries!

JG Melon is an institution. Still gets mobbed by East Siders. Same decor. Great burgers. Too long a await.

[8] Maybe I went during prime beer drinking hours. Lunch is more civilized.
