I love this shot.  Reminds me of how much I hated Brett, with the utmost respect, when he was a player. Guy killed the Yankees and was a dick about it, too. Ah, the good ol’ days.

george brett was a great villain. for my time of watching baseball has to be the #1 yankee killer.

Brett was so good against the Yankees for so long, I really liked him by the end. I still have to use stats to remind myself that he was just a cut below Schmidt, because as an AL fan, I found it hard to believe there was a better third baseman than George Brett. Ever.

Oh, did I hate Brett. But I loved the Pine Tar game. Classic Martin. Too bad it got reversed.

Jeez that rivalry is gone with the wind.
