The Yanks are interested in a 19-year old Cuban outfielder named Jorge Soler.

Good. I was a little disappointed that they didn't get Céspedes, but he's old enough to be more of a risk than Soler.
There are only a few places left where the Yanks can throw around $YankeeBucks™ and not suffer severe penalties, and they should take advantage of those opportunities as they can.
could not agree more. plus, the yanks lack impact outfield prospects. only problem with soler is that he might be too far away to help them when they'll really need it. if he could contribute in 2014, it would make the 189 target that much easier to pull, cuz you could let granderson walk.
[0, 1] How do we know he's really 19?
So who's in RF? One- or two-year deal for Swish?
