Sundazed Soul: Livin’ Lovely

Pitchers and catchers report today. Chad Jennings has some notes already. The intrepid Marc Carig has more.

It’s gunna be a fun season, for sure.

Meanwhile, the Knicks host the defending World Champs at the Garden this afternoon.

Happy Sunday, y’all.

The Garden was rocking this afternoon. To hear it that loud, on a Sunday afternoon, National TV, good opponent, well, at the risk of sounding like an arrogant New Yorker, but that's just good for the league. Great win.

[2] yeah, almost a playoff atmosphere in the 2nd half. I was a little distracted by the Syracuse Rutgers game which was close enough to be pretty exciting as well.

He's the Knick's Jeter.

He's a good one. They played him tough today with that hard trap and took away some of his driving, and there he is nailing three pointers. Just hope they can manage his minutes some how so that he doesn't burn out. Be huge to get something, anything out of Baron Davis.

A.J passed his physical. The deal is done.

[6] Our long imperial nightmare is over.

[5] Not too worried about that. It's a short season (the Knicks have almost played half their games!), and he's very young.

I can't wait to see J-Lin and Melo play together.

I know it had to be done, but I'm actually a bit sad to see AJ go. I guess he's one of those guys that just couldn't make it in NY. I'll bet he does well in Pittsburg and helps their young pitchers.

That picture reminds me of my afternoon at the beach yesterday. ;)

AJ was a smart move by Cashman. He had become a distraction and the new(er) guys are a good bet to replace his innings with better performance. I hope we don't, but I expect we will need all 6 of the remaining potential starters this year.

And have you seen the pictures of CC? Dude looks good (again).

8) Might be a shortened season but they are jamming so many games in a week and he's never played these kinds of minutes before. D'Antoni was accused of burning Amare out last season. I hope that doesn't happen with Lin. Still, if Baron can give them anything, it'll be huge. And if the Knicks can get higher than the 7th seed, they should be able to win a round. Fun stuff.
