"A New York Treasure" --Village Voice

Out of Luck

HBO’s series, “Luck,” has been cancelled.

Here are reports by Jon Weisman in Variety, Andrew Cohen in the Atlantic and Matt Zoeller Seitz in New York magazine.

Brings to mind a story Pat Jordan once wrote called “The Horse Lovers.”

A real shame on many levels. I had really grown to love it.

I really thought Jason Gedrick was good. All the actors were fine but I hadn't seen him in a long time.

I think Gawker had the headline of the day on this:

"HBO’s Luck Has Died Faster Than a Horse on the Set of HBO’s Luck"

My wife told me this last night. I have loved it so far. I couldn't get enough of the female Irish jockey's voice. Music to me ears!
