Did any of you New Yawkers ever go to Astor Barber. I went there for at least 5 years. Trucked over from Joisey. Made a day out of it.

Had my guy...jeeez, can't remember his name now..Luigi? Paolo? Pablos. Shit, I should remember it. Italian dude. Used to say, "I do a nice job, a nice job." Died too soon. One day I went there and asked for him and they told me the news. Brain cancer or something. Wow. Messed me up. Never went back.

Shit, now I'm sad.

I went once in college. Had a shitty barber. It was a meat market but a fun atmosphere. I think it depended on whether or not you had "a guy." Going in randomly wasn't as much fun.
