Left Out?

Man, sure doesn’t feel like we’ll see Brett Gardner anytime soon.

Will the Yanks make a trade? Hmmm…

Still think that a trade to the Nats for a pitcher makes a tone of sense. I've heard that the Yanks nixed the idea last winter (when Detweiler was the key offer from the Nats). Gardie would be a great lead off guy for them, and they are pitching rich. Can't image getting a #1 or #2 for Gardie, mcuh as I love him.

Well, you couldn't get much at all for Gardy right now even though he doesn't make much money. I don't think they want to trade him. Just maybe find a replacement, guy who can field and hit better than D. Wise for the rest of the year.

I agree that the organization still like Gardy and just need an outfielder. There's not to many outfielders playing left field that give the center-fielder so much extra room as Gardiner does. I don't think they have any intention of trading him, just replacing him for the remainder of 2012.
