Anyone else scared to watch this game?

2 Jon DeRosa   ~  Sep 15, 2012 2:37 pm

A guy on first w/ 2 outs for the Rays feels like a guy on third w/ 0 out for anybody else. They will steal second and get the two-out single with the same frequency others can get a sac fly.

[2] I know, that's why they score so many runs!
More than any team in the AL, except, well, everybody, unless you count the Indians or Mariners as AL teams, which is doubtful.

[1] I get Tiggers vs. Indians. Sigh.

5 garydsimms   ~  Sep 15, 2012 3:27 pm

7 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 3:42 pm

[6] And belly to belly!

The bastards. You know Jon was just dying for a stolen base and a single.

(I kid because I love, Jon.)

Wow, this is a good game.

I have no faith in Nova at all, but he looks very good.

16 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:12 pm

[14] Toda. Still a few short. I'll text Youkilis, he isn't doing much of anything.

[15] I don't even like to think about that.

17 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:15 pm

Supernova! Damn.

18 mhoward120   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:16 pm

(16) Maybe we can change Mo to Moe for a day - perfect to be the 10th man to complete the minyan

19 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:18 pm

[18] Well, he's devout.

I think we have enough for a minivan, anyway. Is that good enough?

20 thelarmis   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:18 pm

25 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:22 pm

Oh, cripes. Oh man.

Freaking Nuñe5. But he got away with it.

26 mhoward120   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:22 pm

Love the way Robbie was ready to "complete" the dp if there was a safe call at 2d

27 mhoward120   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:23 pm

Is the empty chair in the new Clint flick?

28 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:24 pm

[27] He's got an entire dining room set. The ensemble is impressive.

29 thelarmis   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:24 pm

Ivan far from terrible!

30 thelarmis   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:26 pm

[28] is this a percussion ensemble?

31 mhoward120   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:26 pm

Wonder whether Ivan's set to pitch a week from Wednesday night? Nova and break-fast go together.

32 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:31 pm

[30] There's no such thing.

33 garydsimms   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:32 pm

Btw.... Israel is playin in the WBC prelim next week
Word is that ryan braun will play if they make final round in March

34 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:33 pm

[31] Ouch.

Funny, I just went and got some belly lox yesterday, from the only place in RI that carries it. I find nova disappointing. (And Nova, too, in a lot of recent starts.)

35 thelarmis   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:34 pm

[32] very very false. i've even played in them.

ok, i'm goin' again.

GO BOSSA NOVA! GO YANKS!!!

36 thelarmis   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:35 pm

lox was a big thing every sunday at brunch.

of course, i've never tasted it...

37 thelarmis   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:36 pm

38 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:37 pm

39 mhoward120   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:37 pm

41 thelarmis   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:38 pm

and ichi on the stolen base!

alright, i'm really leaving now...

later!

42 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:38 pm

Thelarmis, I'll believe in percussion ensembles when I see one.

Yeah, I'm not completely shocked that you haven't eaten lox. Makes a nice ensemble with bagels, though, for real.

43 OldYanksFan   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:39 pm

WoW! Boston on a HUGE Winning streak.

44 garydsimms   ~  Sep 15, 2012 4:46 pm

54 seamus   ~  Sep 15, 2012 5:06 pm

55 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 5:06 pm

Hey, good fielding!
And a good feeling when that happens.

56 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 5:07 pm

[54] Yep.
Which makes you wonder why Girardi pulled Boone. But, anyway.

57 RIYank   ~  Sep 15, 2012 5:08 pm
