Good pitching for the Cards early on. Man, I'm not rooting for the Giants to win the series but I'd like to see this one go back to San Fran at the very least.
And some runs for Zito!
Wow, Zito's pitching a gem with an 85 mph fastball.
A shut out. We've got Game 6 on Sunday.
Zito said "I had all my pitches working" and he was 100% right. You just can't predict baseball. I'm on the Giants bandwagon now.
Hey, AB...as a Cardinals' fan, this is the kind of game that a) makes you pull out what little hair you have left and b) serves as a useful reminder that in the playoffs, it ain't supposed to be easy.
Still think there's no way the Cards' lose 3 straight, but...even just looking at the last 12 months, weirder--much weirder--things have happened.
