I really hope we bring him back next year. He proved the doubters wrong, and the place is well-suited to his swing. He is a little odd, granted, but way less annoying than Swisher.

I think he wants to be back on the West Coast, and play for a winner. .... I think SF or LA would suit him well.

Just walked by Ichiro on Friday. Turns out he lives right near where I work. Some car pulled up as I was walking by a very expensive building. A Japanese guy jumps out and grabs a few bags while a taller Japanese guy gets out and waits on the sidewalk. At first, I was like "why isn't the taller guy helping the other guy? What a jerk." Then I realized he looked familiar and realized it was Ichiro. He has a lot more gray hair that I would have thought. I think this last series aged him.

So I googled him to see if it was really him in that building and it was.

That rent is a measly $40k/month. But given his salary, that means an equivalent guy who makes $100k/year would pay $300 a month. So he is actually being frugal!
