Pushin’ n Shovin’

Yeah, that was the commute this morning. Most of the people in my vicinity had a sense of humor but there were still some cross words.

Ill.

I've been hearing that a lot too. Last week, there was a very cranky dude on the F train who started yelling at some lady because she :::gasp!::: needed to get off the train at her stop! The F train was running local through Queens last week and the problem stop seemed to be Roosevelt Ave in Jackson Heights. People trying to cram in while others were trying to get out. I'm far enough out in Queens that it's not too crowded when I get on so I'm able to jockey for a position and stay there without any problems. Even more lucky when both days last week the person sitting in front of me got out and I was able to grab their seat! Little things that make me happy! But yeah, I totally see that patience is wearing thin.

Meanwhile...the F train started running express again this morning through Queens. I's a happy cat!

Hang in there, getting better little by little!

[1]

Roosevelt Ave. is, even under normal circumstances, one of the busiest in the city .... when compounded with fewer subway line choices ... (shudder)

[3] - exactly! During my trip last Friday at that stop, I genuinely felt a riot was going to break out. It was really frightening
