Star Power

I’m a Scrooge when it comes to the World Baseball Classic. I don’t want any Yankees to play. Correction: I don’t want any Yankee players to get hurt. I care about how the Yankees play in 2013 not about the WBC.

Will Andy Pettitte pitch for the US team? Klap has the skinny.

I kinda/sorta like it for the sole reason that we get to watch semi-serious games earlier than usual...but mostly I hate it and will have waking nightmares of Tex tearing an ACL for two weeks.

A possible upside to Tex playing in the WBC would be that his traditional slow start begins a month early. No, that's the *only* upside to having him play against teams like Mexico and Italy in early March. Eff the WBC.

i'm not a fan of the WBC, at all. when it comes to baseball, i'm all about MLB regular & post season and that's it. i don't even like spring training and think there are way too many games. i only care about the injuries...

GO YANKS!!!
