Rays-Rangers and an open thread for to discuss anything that you’d like.

I never let myself make "autumn food" as long as the Yankees are still playing. So if things don't turn around, at least I have some pot roast to look forward to.
One of The Wife's colleagues just gave her a basket of tomatoes and peppers from the garden. The last stand! But I am forever grateful.
Alex Cobb and the Rays handling the Rangers tonight.
We just picked the last tomatoes from our garden a couple days ago. I've heard that out here in Southern California you can actually get tomatoes to grow year round, but to be honest, I think I'm ready for a break. We had two and half plants, and they were bonkers. I bet we had between 100 and 150 tomatoes this summer.
Next year we're adding peppers -- red and green bell peppers, plus some jalapeños. Can't wait.
