Is it just me, or are these play-off games depressingly low on fun content?

[1] The announcers aren't helping.

[2] Yeah, brutal.

I loved how they congratulated themselves on noticing that Molina was going to try to pick off the runner at second if the pitch hadn't been fouled off. "Subtle, but both of us caught it."

Barf.

And the stuff about sunglasses. Ugh.

Way to go Carpenter.

Damn, Fozzie Bear got out of it.

And that's a wrap.

4 K inning!

I'm enjoying Pedro in the TBS studio. Tough tough loss for the Dodgers. Damn, painful.

So far, not much is going right so far as my rooting interest goes. Hopefully, the Tigers change that tonight but I'm not so sure...

[9] Is it not inevitable that the Sox will take about 200 pitches then score when Ortiz or Napoli homers?

Beautiful game for Sanchez. But the Sox are still right in it.

Really great game for both pitching staffs. Joe West is a dick, but I like it tonight.

Can this really happen?

Blurgh, fuggin great catch by Drew, but it was Ajax who mucked up that scoring chance.

just tuning into the game now. from the sox perspective (which is weird to be taking) - what's it like to be no-hit through 8 1/3 and still be just a bloop and blast away from winning?

is rooting for benoit like what it's going to be like for us in post-rivera era???

Really exciting game, imagine if we were emotionally involved with the teams playing, 'cept it's anyteam but Boston.

[17] There's a lot to like about the Tiggers. For starters, they just one-hit the Gashouse Gang. And that is no small miracle.

Good stories in Detroit, too. The best hitter of our time with some nasty off-field issues. A baseball legacy who's estranged from his daddy. Two of the most automatic pitchers in the game. The crusty, old-school chain smoking manager.

Those Dodgers better get in gear, though.

That may have been the most over dramatic, emphatic celebration by a successful base stealer since Rickey broke Lou Brock's record.

Go tigers.

Two 1-0 games today. Did that ever happen before in LCS? Amazing to think that the two best Tigers pitchers are still to come.
