I have a warm spot in my heart for woman rockers. Learned to love Heart, Chrissie Hynde will always be a fave, Go-Gos are the poster children of '80s punk pop, Janice, Bonnie Raitt, Debbie Harry, Joni, Bjork, the list is endless. Why can't I get behind Joan Jett? Never could.

Joan Jett is cool. I played a festival she was on 2 summers ago and she kicked ass!

I could get behind that blonde in the picture! ; )

[2] Ahhh, you bit at the word play. But being a drummer, you're always behind everyone.

Joan Jett is not only cool, she's HOT. Still. She survived the Runaways and kept on rockin' and keeps on rockin'.

Around 1984, she played my college. I was about a meter from the stage. Close enough to see her nipples poking against her T-shirt. She tossed me her guitar pick and I sill have it.

One of my sweetest rock 'n' roll memories.
