Michael Pineda doesn’t look like your traditional Yankee now does he? Looks like Bernard King with that big ass. Plus, he sports his cap with a little Fernando Rodney sideways thing. And the Gold chain. Kind of nice to have a fat ass like him around. And even better because he pitched well yesterday.

I enjoyed the game even though the Yanks couldn’t come up with a big hit. They had their chances so it was just one of those things. But the loss didn’t ruin the good feelings about Pineda.

David Phelps gave up a couple of bombs late and the Jays won 4-0.

Strange that we find ourselves hoping CC can pitch nearly as well as the #5 starter today.
I'm rooting for CC in a big way, but he worries me now.

The three young guys look like the strength of the staff. The bullpen except for Phelps is solid. In spite of the old ballplayer mantra that batters can't hit against the shift, the defensive alignments being played are out of hand. Practice, practice, practice!

This has probably been re-hashed already, but I thought Cervelli was not only safe at the plate but also that, if he wasn't safe, it is because he could not reach the plate because it was blocked. And if the plate is blocked, the runner is safe this year. That play keep bugging me because that was our chance to get in the game. They blew it!

Not only do the three young guys look like the strength of the staff, but the younger guys seem like the strength of the lineup as well. We need CC today for sure.
