The Yanks and the Jays play an exhibition tonight in Florida.

Brett Gardner LF
Alex Rodriguez 3B
Carlos Beltran RF
Mark Teixeira 1B
Brian McCann C
Garrett Jones DH
Chris Young CF
Stephen Drew 2B
Didi Gregorius SS

Game’s on TV. I don’t watch spring training baseball much but I’ll watch tonight because I want to see C.C. He’s been a fun guy to root for and I don’t know what he’s got left but I’m pulling’ for him, big-time. I mean, we only saw him 8 times last year. Miss the dude, you know? I like that he’s gained some weight back. You don’t want skinny Lolich or skinny David Wells.

Figure the Jays could be pretty good this year, right? And maybe even a little less douchy?–though you could argue Russell and Donaldson just up the douche factor. I’m curious to see them.

Whadda ya hear, whadday ya say?

Let’s Go Yank-ees!

I want to see A-Rod at third. Snow is finally good.

Nice first inning for CC

Pot belly CC gets 3 up, 3 down in first, nothing hit out of the infield.

I don't know, CC looks pretty trim to me.

Um, don't say Alex and juice in the same sentence.

Nice hit, Carlos!

I've never liked Beltran's swing, the way he sweeps at the ball, but that was a nice little hit. He waited nicely on the ball.

Man, they're getting some good swings off of CC.

Some nice hits.

Glad the Yankees aren't going with green hats.

Dellin command not as good as prior spring training outings.

Opposite field!

There is something incredibly peaceful about knowing that baseball is being played in Florida right now, while I face a drive home with the temperature in the 30s - but the grass is starting to poke through the snow in places!

[16] Yes.

Shreve looks good (autocorrect wants it Shreveport).

For me, these are "no stress" games as I don't care who wins and am enjoying these great prospects outperform the regulars!

I missed this!
I mean, the game, but I really mean the Banter. Yay!

I was at the Town Financial Meeting (our annual exercise in direct democracy), which I do think of as a rite of spring, but looking forward to the next BB-linked game.
