That was kind of a sudden start

I didn't remember that Pearce could play second.

Loved that AB by Chris Young in the first. Be fun if this kid Pirela turns into a sleeper.

4 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 12:39 pm

Like that. Just keep getting on base, kid. You'll find that you get playing time.

Who does Chase look like with his stache? It's something not good I know that. The foil in some movie.

We should come up with a game for naming each character type the Yankees with staches now look like.

The Elmore Leonard composite protagonist would be Garrett Jones. Big, sturdy, clearly an athlete, but not huge. Sold handsomeness, wavy hair. His stache actually makes him better looking. He's just one of those naturally handsome guys. He needs more ab's in order to hit. Like to see him start driving some shots over the right field fence.

Steve Drew with a stache looks like one of those guys who always dies in the movies.

Afternoon all. Dogs walked, grass mowed, errands ran and I just came from the Toledo Botanical Garden plant sale. Two types of tomato plants, a sweet pepper plant, oregano, basil and thyme. Have to go elsewhere for broccoli and zucchini. Can't wait for harvest time.

8 rbj   ~  May 9, 2015 12:50 pm

Damn.

9 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 12:51 pm

Chase is throwing nice. Chase looks much different with the stache. Not sure the call on him though.

Oops. As soon as I typed it...

10 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 12:51 pm

7) AWESOME! Thanks for sharing that. May your harvest be plentiful and scrumptuous.

11 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 12:54 pm

I got the call on Whitley with a stache. Chewing gum, walking off the mound, he looks like John C McGingly.

12 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 12:57 pm

Ellsbury looks French.

13 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 12:58 pm

Gardy used to look like a gay stripper or a state trooper or even a gay stripper dressed as a state trooper but now that his stache is getting longer he's turning into something else. I don't have the call on it. Maybe one of the posse guys in an old Western.

14 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:02 pm

Damn.

15 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:09 pm

Shite.

16 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:09 pm

Does Teix look a little like the Swedish Chef with his stache?

17 thelarmis   ~  May 9, 2015 1:10 pm

18 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:10 pm

Aie, Chris Martin on the DL.

19 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:12 pm

Nice play, brother. He's really a Brosius guy, Chase, huh? Solid glove, surefire arm, occasionally effective hitter.

20 thelarmis   ~  May 9, 2015 1:13 pm

i was following when it was 1-0, miffed when it was 2-0, then i begin watching and it's 4-0. then got a telemarketer bothering my family and me on a beautiful saturday afternoon.

21 thelarmis   ~  May 9, 2015 1:14 pm

22 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:15 pm

24 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:16 pm

Maybe the Yanks were out late last night.

25 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:20 pm

He's just got suck it up and make it through 7 innings. And now he's got to get lucky and get a double play ball.

26 Alex Belth   ~  May 9, 2015 1:22 pm

He's just slowly unravelled and is shitting the bed.

27 thelarmis   ~  May 9, 2015 1:23 pm

36 rbj   ~  May 9, 2015 1:54 pm
