Hit the Bricks, Pal, and Beat It

These be the dog days. The Yanks are flat horseshit right now. They limp out of town on a down note after losing again, this time 6-2.

They’ve got a day off and then a weekend series in Atlanta, followed by a three-game set against the Sox in Boston. After that, they return home to face the Rays, O’s and then a big 4-game series vs. the Jays.

If you’ve got something sunny to offer, I’m all ears–well, almost all anyway.

Yankees are 4 up in the first wild card spot. That's all I got.

Now that I live close enough to walk to the Stadium, I took the family to today's game. Got cheap tickets on Stubhub. If it weren't for the perfect summer weather, it would have been a very forgettable game.

We won't see CC for a while. Baltimore and Tampa have fallen off a cliff together. Redsox still in last place. Hockey season is about to start and the Blue Jays fans will fade away.
