Not a fan of not scoring runs in the first.

3 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 6:25 pm

Siddown, fat ass.

4 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 6:47 pm

Enough of the Alex at first talk. He'd be on the DL within 2 games.

5 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 6:50 pm

Oy, Brett

6 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:05 pm

If they get shutout by this chump Porcello..JoeyJoeJoe needs to go Billy Martin on them in the clubhouse.

11 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:25 pm

Drew is determined to get a thank you card from Dimelo.

12 coleman42   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:38 pm

[11] Nice

13 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:42 pm

Learn your lesson, Brett. Geez.

14 coleman42   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:48 pm

Tex woulda had that liner...

15 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:55 pm

Siddown x3!!!

16 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:55 pm

So I just tuned in -- has Pineda been really good, or are the Sox just sucking?

17 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:55 pm

Make that times three, Big Poopi!

18 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:56 pm

Atta boy, Big Mike!

19 coleman42   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:57 pm

Big Papi is Little Papi tonight!

20 coleman42   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:57 pm

[16] the former

21 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Sep 1, 2015 7:59 pm

[16] I'm kind of scared of the 2016 Sox if Castillo starts hitting. What's the vibe on him in Boston?

22 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:03 pm

How many times can the backwards K tonight?

23 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:04 pm

[21] Well, in general RSN has tuned out. But I'd say the vibe is still undecided on Castillo. They *hope* he's learning, but so far it looks like maybe he was overhyped.
They could have a very good outfield next year. (Without Hanley, I mean -- I don't know what they'd do with him.) But no pitching.

24 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:06 pm

[23] Saw a great 'RIP Hanley in the OF' video earlier today, hysterical.

Why take out Pineda?

25 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:07 pm

Time for mix'n'match. I hate mix'n'match

26 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:10 pm

Damn blue jays

27 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:10 pm

[24] It's fun to see them saddled with hideous contracts for years to come. I wonder if they can pull off a dump to the Dodgers this time!?

28 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:12 pm

Joe really likes the 4-out appearance for Betances.

I mean, so do I! Just sayin'.

29 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:15 pm

That ends that threat

30 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:15 pm

Whooooosh!

31 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:16 pm

When Betances is 'on' he's just so unhittable.

32 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:18 pm

Poor Jackie Bradley.

Not really.

33 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:18 pm

Some insurance, please.

34 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:18 pm

This has been a nice snappy game so far. Both Big Pine and Portebello pitched well..

The Sox have some good young players, and besides Ramirez and Panda what bad contracts are they saddled with?

Yanks need some runs...

35 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:19 pm

Inexcusable. Swing the gd bat on that pitch.

36 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:22 pm

No wonder the Tiggers are sucking this year. Traded away too much pitching

37 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:22 pm

Thank you Brett.

38 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:23 pm

That pesky gritty Gardner!

39 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:24 pm

Nice. I was thinking last night I haven't seen one knocked over that stupid pole in a while.

40 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:26 pm

Needed that bit of Grit.

41 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:26 pm

[36] Porcello has been pretty bad, actually.

[34] Oh, well, Pedroia, and Alan Craig, those are the bad ones.

42 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:29 pm

Hm, don't like this.

43 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:31 pm

Hah!
Oh, that was awesome. Excellent.

Very, very nice play by Headley.

44 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:31 pm

Challenge?

45 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:32 pm

Yes, review.

46 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:32 pm

[41] Better than Buck Farmer. There's nothing in the farm system.

47 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:33 pm

Just as much evidence as last night's call at first. Reversing this would be a steaming pile of shit.

48 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:33 pm

This is something, pushing the foot off the bag...

49 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:33 pm

This feels like the seventy kajillionith time I've watched Ortiz come up in a scary situation.

Betts is out!

50 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:34 pm

Ahhhhhh.
Sweet. And the Fenway Faithful are feeling it.

51 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:34 pm

I like it!

52 mhoward120   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:34 pm

Is that even challengeable?

53 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:34 pm

Yes! Bookie Metts is out

54 mhoward120   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:34 pm

Fat fuck down

55 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:34 pm

Golden Sombrero for Papi!

What an excellent inning this was.

56 coleman42   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:35 pm

Take off that big chain, Papi. It's weighing you down.

57 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:35 pm

[52] I was wondering that. Is it reviewable whether Headley pushed him off the bag? I'd guess not.

58 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:35 pm

I'm a big fan of ortiz's half buttoned jersey and giant medallion look. Puke.

59 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:36 pm

Times four

60 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:39 pm

It's inevitable that keeping a tag on will move an off balance runner off the bag. I like the call tonight, but to me calling a player out is not baseball.

61 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:39 pm

Oh boy, it's No-Way Ramirez.

62 MSM35   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:39 pm

Tribe just tied it.

63 MSM35   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:44 pm

Old friend Abe Almonte just tripled.

64 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:44 pm

How can we strike out 15 times against this cruddy pitching staff? Amazing.

65 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:45 pm

.[61] wrapped the Yanks up tight.

66 Mr OK Jazz Tokyo   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:46 pm

[61] No way they hit him.

67 coleman42   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:46 pm

[60] Check replay. Chase starts tagging him, holds the tag as he turns and practically falls off to the side. He had to lean on the guy's foot to keep his balance!

68 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:46 pm

Miller time

69 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:47 pm

One down

70 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:51 pm

Beauty.

71 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:51 pm

Two down

72 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:51 pm

Got 'im.
Miller's still in charge.

One more...

73 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:53 pm

Cheers, all. First day of school on the morrow. Booooooo!

74 RIYank   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:53 pm

Yes!

Beauty.

Great game. Especially the part I saw.

75 Ara Just Fair   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:54 pm

Lol.. Tough shit.

76 rbj   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:54 pm

Three down! I'll take it

77 coleman42   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:55 pm

A gift for Yanks on last pitch. Fine win.

78 coleman42   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:55 pm

Drew postgame interview!

79 kenboyer made me cry   ~  Sep 1, 2015 8:55 pm

Lots of breaks tonight, but a good win, solid pitching. And Drew tweaks it to the Sox for the winning hit.
