Yanks Win 6th Straight

rocking horse bags

Masahiro Tanaka was not sharp last night but he was “Gutty,” as they like to say. He battled. He was tough. All that. And his offense piled on the runs to give Tanaka his fifth win of the season. (Mike Axisa has the details, as usual.)

Final Score: Yanks 10, Reds 4.

Happy?

Happy. IIRC, Moose once said that of your 30 starts, 10 are going to be great, 10 are going to stink and 10 you're going to have to figure things out. Tanaka was able to figure things out last night. Weird two game series.

I'm happily enjoying this. Trying not to get too hyped lest I become disappointed...

Yesterday I was remembering the days we had Kei Igawa, Pavano, Kevin Brown, Terrence Long, Kenny Lofton, and saying to myself, these are fun times! Enjoy it all, Man!

[5] Oh my god.
Were those the Dark Days? Or did the days continue to get darker in a way? (Because by getting better the Yankees pushed off the hard decisions they had to make to get to these brighter days.)
