Put the Needle to the Groove

Playin’ Records.

This is one is so hype. (I dig it to death.)

This one is so sweet.

How about makin’ records? Like Pete.

Or using them to sell smokes. Like Fred.

This post was obviously inspired by the prior's discussion of Tim McCarver Sings the American Songbook.

Why the Yankees are wasting time with this Jay Z character is beyond me. I mean, Tim McCarver will be there anyway.

As a current occasional some time user and former MPC 2000 nut, that Pete Rock thing was real fun to watch. There were a couple years where I put every fiber of my being into that thing. He's right it is a comfortable machine though it's funny how he's saying his is kind of old-school - mine is older-school still ... I was jealous to see him change tempo so easy, even though he calls it manual, it aint manual compared to the manipulation I gotta perform to get the same result!
